HYNOTONE Ares High-Gain Distortion Preamp Pedal | Key Highlights Built with a 5-stage full JFET circuit, Ares delivers authentic tube amp warmth, dynamic response and rich harmonics, specially optimized for metal, hard rock, downtuned & 7-string guitars with tight, dense high-gain distortion. It features independent Gain and Volume knobs plus a full 3-band Bass/Mid/Treble EQ for precise tone shaping. Three functional switches expand tonal flexibility: BOOST adds extra gain for cutting leads; TIGHT tightens low-end for crisp heavy riffs; BITE boosts mid-highs for sharp, defined articulation. Compact all-metal stompbox fits neatly on pedalboards, powered by standard 9V DC. It works great with power amp pedals like CabScreamer60 or IR loaders, ideal for bedroom practice, band rehearsals and stage performances for heavy guitar players.
