Why BS-1 Bass Shaker is Needed? The human ear has the ability to hear a wide range of sounds, however, some sound is simply too low to hear and must be felt through the body. Feeling this extremely low frequency sound will add a new dimension to your listening, gaming and movie experiences, so bass shakers are emerged. Douk Audio BS-1 bass shakers can provide extremely immersive experience in gaming or movie, you will be able to feel everything from high impact explosions in movies to the subtle feel of road surfaces in racing simulators from the feelings of auditory, vision and body. Features The fully upgraded version of Douk Audio BS-1 bass shaker, released in May 2025, the performance is greatly improved. A redesigned heat sink significantly improves output efficiency, while chrome-plated pure copper terminals ensure long-term durability and corrosion resistance. The new BS-1 Bass Shaker brings you a whole new level of tactile immersion. BS-1 bass shaker makes movies alive: unlike other speakers just providing a wonderful sound experience, Douk Audio BST-1 adds depth and dimension to your audio, ensuring you don't just hear the sound but feel it too, to provide an extremely immersive experience just like you are the role in the movie. Strong output power brings engaging experience: with 50 watts of nom power at 6 ohms, BS-1 serves as an efficient exciter speaker to deliver an immersive tactile bass experience. Unlike common subwoofers, the BS-1 will not overload your listening area, and the perceived loudness of the BS-1 improves listening at lower sound volumes. Advanced transducer speaker technology: the BS-1 turns your home theater sofa or gaming chair into a bass-enhancing transducer speaker, making you feel the vibrations from high impact explosions in movies to the subtle feel of road surfaces in racing simulators, totally perfect for movies, music and gaming. Easy use and setup for your home/car system: the BS-1 can be easily connected to a bass shaker amplifier allowing you to upgrade your home theater or gaming setup with minimal hassle. Recommend to install the BS-1 under your seating that is not fixed to the floor to achieve the greatest effects. Warm tips: 1. The impedance of the BS-1 Bass Shaker is 6 ohms. When used in a single unit configuration it must be hooked up to an amplifier that is either stereo or bridged mono, the same way you would connect a subwoofer. 2. Before installing and use, please consult the amplifier manual for the impedance rating of your amplifier. Connecting 2 or 4 or 8 BS-1 bass shakers can be used in situations where more bass energy is desired or in larger applications. Connecting two in Series configuration will raise the impedance to 12 ohms, connecting 2 in parallel will lower the impedance to 3 ohms, and wiring 4 or 8 BS-1 in series-parallel will keep the overall impedance to 6 or 3 ohms. 3. Before connecting the bass shaker amplifier, please consult the amplifier manual to verify it has the power capability that produce the wattage safely at various impedances. WARNING: Don't exceed 50 watts RMS per bass shaker multiplied by the number of shakers (example: 50 x 4 = 200 Watts RMS) Specifications: Brand: Douk Audio Model: BS-1 Frequency response: 20-200 Hz Rated impedance AC: 6Ω ± 15% at 22°C Rated impedance DC: 6Ω ± 10% at 22°C Resonance Freq (F0): 30Hz at 22°C ± 20% Nom input power: 50W Max. input power: 100W Vibration force peak: 30 lbs. per ft.
